On Wednesday, January 28, 2009 Lindenwold High School had their First Annual Kick Off Party for the Senior Seminar Project! It was a lot of fun and everyone's sponsor and mentor that could attend attended. My sponsor couldn't attend, but my mom and Mrs. Distasi were there. My mom and I have been on the committee since last year so I was pretty excited to get the kick off party started! All of the students had to talk for about 20 seconds each and talk about exactly what they wanted to do for their project. All of the students did a great job talking and didn't let their nervousness get in the way. Mr. Abrams and Mr. Snyder did a great job organizing the event and I know that next year's seniors are going to have just as much fun as we are now!
You guys were the gems of the evening. I am proud of how you beat down those butterflies and just did it. The ability to get up there and do it will contribute immensly to your teaching career (or whatever else you're going to do for that matter.
