01/27/2009 My third day at Bancroft

So today was my third day a Bancroft! Each day I go there I seem to like it more and more. The children are so wonderful and smart. Today I worked one on one with a student and it was so much fun, she didn't mind whatsoever. I thought she was going to throw a tantrum or something because she doesn't see me that often, however, she didn't! We worked on saying words like... "boy" and "girl" and everyday signs like "stop" and "go". I also went to gym with the students like I do everyday, today there were only three students in my class. My class and another class played each other in bowling and MY CLASS WON! haha. Today, I felt like I definitely interacted with the students a lot more and I loved that feeling. My two sponsors were suppose to come to the Kick Off Event Party for the Senior Seminar Project however, they are unable to make it now :(. Today was just a great day and I'm looking forward to next Tuesday!
